Bug #1 : The traffic in Gainesville from 5pm to 6:30pm is too slow.
Why: Time that most people leave work and the streets in Gainesville are too small to smoothly accommodate the amount of vehicles.
Bug #2: The remote control of my apple tv disappears all the time.
Why: Small control and fits in almost every crack.
Bug #3: Southwest Rec Center is always full.
Why: Most students prefer that gym because of its quality.
Bug #4: McDonalds ice cream machine is often claim to be broken.
Why: Lazy staff, who does not like making them.
Bug #5: Lack of work ethic in many workers.
Why: lack of goals and bad education.
Bug #6: Trashcan in my complex is too far from my house.
Why: They must accommodate a large amount of people, so some will be closer some will be farther.
Bug #7: The fact that Apple devices are overpriced.
Why: People buy brand not quality, the devices are good, but a $1000 phone should not freeze as often.
Bug #8: Extremely high number of mosquitoes in Florida.
Why: The way the environment is made by mother nature. Consequences of building cities over a swamp.
Bug #9: People in Gainesville does not know how to properly drive.
Why: Poor teaching mechanism.
Bug #10: My sister never takes the garbage out.
Why: Probably because the trashcan is far and she is lazy.
Bug #11: People lack motivation and goals.
Why: The system has blinded them, and lack of mentorship.
Bug #12: Golf is an expensive sport to be played.
Why: Expensive equipment.
Bug #13: Coffee at Starbucks/dunkin donuts is extremely overpriced.
Why: People need caffeine and are willing to pay anything for it.
Bug #14: Dog poop in green area of my complex.
Why: People are uneducated and lazy.
Bug #15: Businesses close early in Gainesville.
Why: Small overnight demand
Bug #16: No Brazilian restaurants in Gainesville.
Why: An entrepreneur has no taken the action yet.
Bug #17: High number of beggars in NW 20th ave.
Why: Low income neighborhood.
Bug #18: Expensive electricity in Gainesville.
Why: Electricity provider has no competition.
Bug #19: Text and driving.
Why: People are anxious and can’t be away from their phone.
Bug #20: Parking in Campus during business hours is very hard.
Why: Large number of cars for limited space.
Finding “bugs” or things to complaint about is somewhat difficult for me, because the way I look at the world is usually trying to find what is positive out there and not the opposite. I understand is another skill I can develop with practice, but I found mentally tiring to think of negatives things to talk about. However, I do see something positive in this exercise, I saw things that I could fixed that I never thought of before.
Your bug number two is a bug that I should have put on my list. I don't necessarily lose my Apple TV remote, But I do lose everything in my life. I so often wonder why there isn't little stickers that have GPS chips in them that you can stick onto your phone, wallet, card, remotes, keys, etc, and tell you where your things are... I don't know, maybe this does exist and im too lazy to find it.
